If you’ve never been to the National Western Stock Show, you’re missing out on seeing many, many cows.
According to their website:
More than 15,000 head of horses, cattle, sheep, swine, goats, llamas, alpacas, bison, yak, poultry and rabbits step foot on the grounds of the National Western Stock Show each year. The National Western Stock Show is noted for hosting the world’s only carload and pen cattle show, held in the historic Denver Union Stockyards.
What’s not to love?
In all seriousness, the National Western Stock Show is a lot of fun, and is a great event for the whole family to attend. Be sure to check the event schedule on the website and plan your visit before you go, otherwise you may end up simply wandering around and looking at cows (which – it turns out – is actually an interesting way to spend your day).
