Nearly everyone who makes it up to Estes Park, Colorado, has the opportunity to see elk at some point during their visit. Usually, visitors can spot these beautiful animals up in Rocky Mounting National Park, or in meadows surrounding Estes. This time, however, we ran into them while walking through “downtown” Estes.
